Charles Misati is a former Lecturer at Kenya Polytechnic, Kenya Institute of Management, and Loreto College.
A Master Soap Craftsman
Having learned soap making as an apprentice in an Indian soap-making cottage industry in the 1980s while studying in India, I am among the pioneers of home-based soap production in Kenya. I began in Dandora in the early 1990s and continued until I transitioned into a full-time teaching career.
Man on a Mission
Since my retirement in 2013, I have been on a mission to provide complete home cleaning solutions. I believe I have found an answer to a common question:
“Why do mtumba (second-hand) clothes look new when they arrive but lose their shine quickly with local use?”
